What’s a better time to come back to this faith journal than Easter time. As the weather cools down into the cozy season here in Melbourne, my morning devotion has cranked up a notch. I spent longer time reading the bible. Easter is the time when I spent most of my reading time in the gospel. On Easter Sunday when we remember Christ’s resurrection, I also remember His death on the cross on Friday. I remember the thief on the cross, crucified with Him. He had never had a bible study, nor had he any knowledge of any doctrines, yet, he had made it to eternity.

On what basis did the thief make it to eternity? On Christ alone…

That’s how I need to live my faith. I live, because He died for me, He rose again for me and with this knowledge, I have a ticket to eternity. How do I know that? Because it’s in the scripture.

3 For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received—that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures,

1 Corinthians 15:3-4
